Dear Customers, Parents, Swimmers

We want to take this opportunity to say a huge thank you to you, our customers, for your continued support and patience through this very uniquely difficult period for us all. We are truly overwhelmed by the loyalty and support shown to Swim Excellence, our family-run business, we will never forget it, we have missed you all and cannot wait to get you swimming again.

There has been lots of planning behind the scenes for the last few months and now that pools can officially reopen their doors we are starting to put plans in place. The reason for the delay between pools opening and lessons restarting is simple, as we rent pool space, we are working with the venues to ensure lessons are as safe as they can be for you, our customers and our Swim Excellence team members. Our venues and ourselves need time to risk assess all of our pool environments based on the official guidance from our governing body, the STA. Once we are able to restart our main programme safely we will do so, we anticipate this to be from September 2020.

You will hear from us as soon as the venue you swim at gives us a start date, swimmers will automatically be enrolled into the new future course, please be assured, we know how long it has been since your child has been in a lesson, maybe even in the water and therefore we will be focusing on reintroduction to the water for the first few lessons, each individual is different so we will be assessing each swimmers levels of confidence, also if your child is a Swimbaby/tot and they are old enough for the next class level now we will discuss this with you in detail.

We also want to ensure you that we will be employing the highest standards, our lessons will be a little different when we return to keep everyone safe. Each pool environment will be risk assessed from the car parks, reception areas, changing rooms, pool area and all adjoining areas and how we are going to keep equipment and areas clean. We also have to rethink the way you interact with your teachers and each other and the way we use our equipment, All of this will be explained in detail before you attend your lessons, please be assured though it will still be the Swim Excellence lessons you know and love.
